OUR CLUB

Waverley Basketball Club, established in 1974, operates within the junior domestic program of the Melbourne East Basketball Association (MEBA). Our primary goal is to provide extensive opportunities for young girls and boys to actively participate in and enjoy basketball. Emphasising sportsmanship and team play, we cater to players of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced athletes.

As one of the largest local junior basketball clubs, Waverley Basketball Club accommodates members aged 6 to 19 years old, fielding both girls' and boys' teams across all age groups. Each season, the club enters a significant number of teams into both midweek and Saturday competitions, competing against other local clubs.

Our club relies entirely on volunteers, and we greatly depend on support from our parent community. Parents and friends have the opportunity to volunteer as coaches, team managers, or even join our committee.

Our committee meets monthly, and we always welcome new members. We extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributes to our club.
